We are saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Deason, of Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on July 6, 2025, at the age of 87. Joseph, also known as Joe, was born on July 17, 1937, to his loving parents Henry and Annie Deason.

Joseph is reunited in heaven with his beloved wife Marianne, his sister Mary Lou, Melvin, two brothers Sunny and HB Deason, a nephew Galen Chaney, and a niece Dora Ann. He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Annie Deason.

Joseph was a dedicated father to his three children, Michael Deason and spouse Betty, Mary Etta Deason and spouse Becky, and Mary Jordan and spouse Mickey. He adored his six grandchildren and left behind numerous great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

Joseph worked as an electrical engineer, spending most of his time fixing old jukeboxes and bringing music back to life. He loved life to the fullest, enjoying spending time at the race track and cheering on his favorite driver. In his free time, he loved holidays with his family and making memories.

Joseph will be remembered for his infectious laughter, kind heart, and love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Rest in peace, Joseph Deason.
