Joseph Coles was born on September 14,1949, to the 

union of George and Martha Coles in Ocala, Florida. 

He moved to St.Matthews, SC with his family while 

still a young child.

Joseph accepted Christ at an early age. He was drafted 

into the military at the age of 16 and as stationed in 

Vietnam majority of military career. in 1977 he 

matches love of his life and long time companion, 

Sandra.

Joseph Coles departed his life on Sunday, April 21, 

2019. He was preceeded in death by his father George 

Coles, his brother Michael Coles and his sister Diana 

Tillman.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife: Sandra 

Coles; his children Ronald Coles, Teresa McKnight & 

Natalie Coleman all of St.Matthews, SC; one sister 

Reesy Brown; and his grandchildren Lorraine Coles, 

Laquanna McFadden,Diona Coleman and Briana Coles all of South Carolina, 

three nieces, one nephew and a host of other relatives and friends
