Joseph Carter Jr, a beloved resident of Houston, Texas, passed away on June 7, 2023, at the age of 57. Joseph was born on July 23, 1965, to his parents Joseph Lamont Carter Sr and Diana Calhoun.

Joseph was a loving husband to his wife Karen Carter, who he married in the year 25. Together, they shared five children, Shamika Carter with spouse Deanthony Thomas, Dwayne Carter with spouse Destiny Roberson, Joseph Carter, Kristen Carter with spouse Siakoyuh Flugence, and KaBrya Carter with spouse Demontre Thompson. Joseph cherished his family above all else and was proud of all the accomplishments of his children.

Joseph attended Springfield High School and graduated in 1984, he continued his academic journey at Southern University and A&M College. Joseph was a hardworking man and spent many years working at Hobby Airport, where he made many lifelong friends.

Joseph was known for his kind heart and willingness to help anyone in need. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to those around him, and he will be remembered for his generosity and thoughtfulness.

Joseph was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all those who knew him.
