On August 14th, 2024, the world lost a beloved member of the community in Newnan, Georgia. Joseph Lockwood, born on March 6th, 1941, lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to god.

Joseph was a proud father of six children, each of whom brought him immense joy and laughter. He also had the privilege of being a grandfather to nine grandchildren, who filled his heart with happiness.

Joseph was a man of many talents and interests. He served his country with honor in the Army, where he demonstrated bravery and dedication to his fellow soldiers. He continued to show his unwavering dedication and compassion throughout his whole life, leading as many as he could to god and helping others as much as he could.In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and working on cars. so much ,that in the last few days of life he was talking about buying a new car to work on.

Joseph Lockwood will always be remembered for his unwavering love for his family, his commitment to serving his country, and his passion for god and leading others to Christ . He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and resilience that will continue to inspire those who knew him.
