It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Joseph Brayton, who tragically succumbed to injuries sustained in an accident on August 15th, 2025, at the age of 18. Born on July 7th, 2007, Joseph was a vibrant and beloved son, brother, nephew, and grandson. He was known for his passionate dedication to high school football, where he showcased remarkable talent and sportsmanship, and his deep enthusiasm for cars, a hobby that brought him immense joy and connection with others. Joseph fought bravely after the accident, demonstrating an incredible will to live, but ultimately gained his wings as an angel. He is now reunited in heaven with his cherished mother and grandparents, who will undoubtedly welcome him with open arms.
Joseph leaves behind his loving sister, Elise Brooke Brayton, his devoted Uncle Sean Burt, and several cousins, all of whom will deeply miss his infectious spirit and unwavering kindness. His memory will be cherished by all who knew him. In accordance with his family's wishes, Joseph's ashes will be spread in a private family gathering at a later date.
