It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Joseph Ortega on September 17, 2025, in Houston, Texas, United States. He was born on May 28, 1981, to John Ortega and Katherine Verducci.

Joseph is survived by his partner, Amanda Tillman, and their four children, Jonah, Jeremiah, Joseph Jr, and Addison. He was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first.

Joseph attended Summit High School and graduated in 1999. He had a passion for Taekwondo, rock climbing, and yoga. He enjoyed spending time with his family, going out to dinner, visiting amusement parks, and taking family vacations.

Joseph will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious smile, and unwavering love for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
