Jose Luis Velasquez, born on August 11, 1964, in Mexico City, passed away on October 21, 2024, in El Paso, Texas. He was a beloved husband, father, and grandfather who cherished spending time with his family and friends.Jose had a passion for fishing and camping, often sharing these activities with his loved ones. He was also a devoted fan of the Texas Rangers, often found cheering for his favorite team with enthusiasm. Especially after winning the World Series. 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Sonya Velasquez; his sons, Enrique Velasquez and Hector Velasquez; and his three cherished grandchildren Carmen, Luis, and Miguel. Jose's warmth, humor, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Join us to celebrate Jose’s life. Services will be held October 26, 2024 at Sunset Funeral home 750 N Carolina Dr, El Paso TX, 79915 at 10:00 A.M. It will be followed by the burial at Evergreen Cemetery 4301 Alameda Ave, El Paso, TX 79905.
