We are saddened to announce the passing of Jose Jesus Topete on May 9, 2024, in Eureka, California. Born on July 29, 1973, to Alejandro and Clara Jesus Lopez de Topete, Jose was a beloved husband, father, and friend.

Jose is survived by his loving spouse, Ericka Topete, whom he married in 1993, and their son, Jose Jesus Topete Jr. He is also survived by his siblings - his brothers, Antonio Topete and Francisco Topete and his sisters, Jessica Topete, Sophia Topete, and Margaret Ramirez Topete. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed spending time with his loved ones, especially while fishing, his favorite hobby.

Jose will be remembered for his contagious laughter, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. He touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
