Jose Diaz Lara ll, age 69, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 1, 2021 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Madison WI . Jose was born on November 15, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas the son of the late Jose Mendez Lara and Helen (Diaz) Lara.

He is survived by his children, Jose Lara, Marsha Brown, Thomas Lara, Synthia Nirschl, Drew Lara, Matthew Lara, Ciara Lara, Marcus Lara.

He loved Spanish music, movies, Mexican soap-operas, and his family. He was proud of all his children and grandchildren and loved each one of them deeply. He will be remembered as a hard worker, from working in the fields as a migrant worker, to using his hands and doing mechanical work.
We miss your beautiful smile, laugh, and your ability to connect with so many people. I know that you continue to look over our family from heaven, and you will always and forever be in our hearts.
