It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jose De la Cruz, 69, of Hazelton, Pennsylvania, on October 16, 2024. Born on April 5, 1955, Jose was known for his kind heart and friendly demeanor. He was a beloved member of his community, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. Jose will be remembered for his infectious smile and positive attitude towards life. He leaves behind a legacy of compassion and generosity that will continue to inspire all those who knew him. Jose will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Surviving are his daughter; María de la Cruz, his son: Marcos Abraham De La Cruz, and wife, María Antonieta; grandchildren, Lisbeth, Keyshla, María, Stacy and Jade de la Cruz.

The funeral Services will be hele at 10 a.m. sunday at the Joseph B Conahan funeral home. 535 N Vine St, Hazelton, PA 18201. Interment will follow in vine st cementary

Family and friends may visit from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. to service time sunday.
