Jose C. Lucero, 21, a resident of Las Vegas passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2016.He was born on Nov. 8, 1994 to Gerald Lucero and Robin Thurman in Las Vegas.He was preceded in death by his mother, Robin Mcfarland; uncle, Shawn Thurman; great-grandfather, Jose Romero; great-grandmother, Jessie Romero; numerous uncles and aunts.He is survived by his father, Gerald Lucero of Anthony, Texas; sisters, Jewel Mcfarland of Kansas City, and Amanda Gloria of Albuquerque; brother, Luis Angel of Albuquerque; grandmothers, Gloria Thurman (Leopoldo) of Las Vegas, and Gabriela Lucero of Anthony, Texas; aunts and uncles, Veronica Jaramillo (Roman Villapando), Paula Jaramillo, all of Las Vegas, (Godmother) Maryjo Vigil (Charlie) of Chacon, Polito Jaramillo (Gloria), Ernest Jaramillo (Josephine Mora), Raymond Jaramillo; Jose Lucero Jr. (Maria), all of Las Vegas, Ramon Lucero (Elenore) of Santa Rosa, Gilbert Lucero (Esther) of Texas, Lucy Lucero of Santa Rosa, and Patsy Lucero of Anton Chico; special cousins, Estevan Jaramillo, Jasmine Vigil, Joseph Vigil, Sophia Vigil, Milagro Jaramillo all of Las Vegas, and Jessica Silva of Anton Chico.Rosary service will be held at 7 p.m. on Tuesday at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas. Funeral Service will be conducted at 9 a.m. on Wednesday also at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Douglas Mitchell as celebrant.
