Badass Muthafucka

Jose’ M. Vieira, 49, of New Bedford, Massachusetts, passed away on July 22, 2023 surrounded by his family. Jose’ was born on September 02, 1973. Joey was a lifelong resident of New Bedford, Ma. Joey, Joe, Dad, Daddy, Yoey, Slowey, Aldo, Beast are some of the nicknames  he goes by. Joey is a father of 3 whom he loves dearly. Joey was a death metal musician most of his life, he held several legal jobs throughout his life and several illegal jobs. Joey was raised on the streets and lived his life his way.

He leaves behind his lifelong partner & love Ianthe Muthafuckin Sampson and their 3 children, Joey L. Vieira, Nevaeh S. Vieira, & Scarlet O. Vieira. Joey is and will always be a member of Hazard Hill in which he has many brothers, Joey has 1 biological sister, Karen Hollins and 1 half sister, Joyce Silva. His father is Joe Silva  & his Mother who is deceased is Eleanor Borges. Joey also has 2 nieces and several cousins. Joey has many lifelong good friends who he considers family.

Joey lived a hard, crazy, beautiful, sometimes extremely rough life. He did exactly what he wanted when he wanted and stubbornly didn’t care to listen to reason. Joey created & played old school death metal music for most of his life. He was an amazing guitar player & musician. He fronted and played guitar in a few bands in his days like Moral Decay, Convulsion Sickness & Possessed Entity. Music was one of his passions throughout his life. Joey loves old vintage cars and has had several. He was currently almost finished with his 62 Chevy Biscayne in which he worked on with his good friends & youngest daughter. Joey also was a lifelong lover of APBT’s in which he raised several with his lifelong partner in crime Ianthe.

Joey will be remembered as a silly, wild, loving, evil, lunatic of a man by everyone who knew him. Joey was always known to make his loved ones laugh and cry as often as possible. He was the man his friends & loved ones would always call on if shit popped off as he was known to protect his people fiercely. He would tell stories after stories over and over …always. Joey loved to party with his people as often as possible and raise hell. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

If you had the honor or privilege of knowing or befriending Joey you loved him…. Even when you hated him. He was a complicated man with a heart of gold.

His family & friends ask you remember all the good and leave out all the rest…..

Rest in Peace Joey. You are loved & will never be forgotten. 🖤🤘🏼🖤

Joey did not want a funeral, he will be cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life for Joey which will be announced soon to his family & friends.

You can to the family or in memory of Jose’ Vieira.
