It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of José Maldonado, who was born on January 6, 1945, in Arroyo, Arroyo, Puerto Rico, and passed away on February 27, 2024. José was a beloved member of the community, known for his kindness, hard work, and dedication to his family.

Jose had four children, Alex Maldonado, José Luis Maldonado, Michelle Rodríguez, and another child. He also had five grandchildren who brought him immense joy and pride. José studied at Eli Whitney High School and excelled in his academics, laying the foundation for a successful career ahead.

Throughout his life, José worked as a furniture finisher, showcasing his craftsmanship and attention to detail in every piece he worked on. His work was not just a job to him but a true passion that he poured his heart into every day.

Jose was known for his warm smile, his sense of humor, and his unwavering love for his family. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, always putting his loved ones first and creating lasting memories with them.
