Jorge (Alberto) Alzate, passed away in his home and was received as an angel on September 2, 2020. He was 92 years young.

Born November 15th, 1928 originally from Cali, Colombia. He lived a very great long life full of love and laughter. He was an excellent father to five boys and girls. He was a wonderful husband. He loved listening to salsa music, Playing cards, and playing chess with friends. He had a passion for classic cars. He enjoyed traveling to many places and he relocated to Dominican Republic in the early 90s. Jorge would often go back to Colombia to reunite with friends and family. His warmth, smile, and his charisma drew people towards him. Jorge was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Jorge is survived by his loving wife Marie Alzate, sons and daughters Pilar Alzate, Gloria Alzate, Olga Alzate, Luis Alzate and Jorge Alzate. He is also survived by his grandchildren Luisa Alzate, Camilla Kallman, Danielle Alzate, Sebastian Alzate, Jairo Alzate, and Aileen Lopera. Also surviving his brother and sisters, Fanny Alzate, Bertha Perez, Jose Alzate, and numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, life long friends and other relative.
