It is with both sadness and fond memories that we announce the passing of Joni Perkins, born on March 9, 1941, who left this world on June 27, 2023. Joni touched the lives of many during her time with us, and her absence will be deeply felt. Joni was a beloved Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother.

Joni enjoyed spending every moment she could with her family including her husband John, her beautiful twin daughters Linda and Laurie, her hilarious son Lenny and her caring daughter in-law Ruth, stepson Jim Flynn and all her precious grandchildren and great grandchildren, including A.J, Russell, Christina, Rachel, Lenny, Rebecca, Joey, Daylen, Bridget, Fiyona, Colton and Damon. She believed in embracing every moment with joy and laughter. She had an uncanny ability to light up any room with her infectious smile and contagious sense of humor. Her genuine kindness and compassion were evident to everyone she encountered especially with her family.

Joni was a very hardworking woman and she was also known for her incredible talent in the kitchen. Her mouthwatering dishes left everyone's taste buds happy.

It is impossible to capture the essence of Joni's spirit in a few short paragraphs. She was a ray of sunshine, and a true original. Her departure leaves a void in our lives, but her memory will forever be etched in our hearts.

Rest in peace, dear Joni. May your laughter and light continue to shine brightly, even in eternity.
