We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Jon Pitchford, who was born on May 6, 1955 and passed away on February 17, 2025 in Orlando, Florida, United States. He was the beloved son of Henry and Nell Pitchford and leaves behind a legacy of love and memories.

Jon is survived by his three children, Jonise Pitchford, Tomeajoy Wright, and Erica Pitchford, as well as ten grandchildren. He was a dedicated father and grandfather who always put his family first.

Jon attended Murray Wright High School, where he excelled academically and made lifelong friendships. He later went on to work at the State of Michigan, where he was respected and admired by his colleagues.

Jon had a passion for Jazz music, basketball, and football. He could often be found listening to his favorite records or cheering on his favorite teams. His love for these hobbies brought joy to those around him and created lasting memories.

Jon's life was tragically cut short due to cancer, but his spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. He will be deeply missed and fondly remembered.
