Jolena Pirtle FisherJackson, TNJolena Pirtle Fisher, 78 of Bemis, passed away on January 1, 2017.Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 at 12 Noon in the South Chapel of George A. Smith and Sons with Dr. Bill Sims officiating. Burial will follow in Ridgecrest Cemetery.Jolena was born on April 10, 1938 to the late Orien C. and Mary Emma Pirtle. She was a 1956 graduate of J.B. Young High School and was an active member of First Baptist Church Bemis.She was preceded in death by her husband, George Ralph Fisher, Sr.She is survived by her children, Lisa Cooper Wilson (Danny) of Pinson, TN, Jeffrey Cooper (Van) of Henderson, TN, and George Ralph Fisher, Jr. (Debra) of Collierville, TN; a sister, Kathryn Pirtle Curlin (Glenn) of Jackson; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 4, 2017 from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. at George A.
