Johnny "Sharp" Grier, 67, of Pine Mountain, Georgia, passed on August 23, 2020 at St. Francis Hospital in Columbus, Georgia. Johnny heard the voice of Jesus say " Come unto me and rest". Johnny was born March 29, 1953 to the late Georga Belle and Osborn Grier.

He was employed with Callaway Gardens as a Grounds Engineer.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Tara Grier and son Alonzo"Duke"Grier.

He leaves to cherish his memories his wife Sarah Grier,. Two daughters, Chloris Stanford(Tavares) and Brenda Grier;. Three granddaughters, Erica Grier, Canesia and Keara Stanford; one great grandson, Jaider Hudson;. Three stepsons, Lance Brooks, Thomas Brooks(Talisha) and Derrick Brooks(Danielle); four sister Marguarite Johnson, Betty Ransom, Pauline McDaniel(Jerry), and Cora Trammell;. Four brothers Apostle Louis Trammell(Josephine), Phillip Trammell, Roosevelt Trammell(Cynthia), and Joe Cecil Copeland(Ann);. Four brother in laws Robert, Sampson,Jimmie Lee and Willie Curtis Brooks;. Two sister in laws Nellie Hicks and Hattie Mae Tucker.

Graveside services were held on Saturday, Aug 29th,2020 at 1 p.m. at Trinity Cemetary innDurand, Georgia. Rev. Louis Trammell officiant.

West Georgia Mortuary wasnnin charge of arrangements.
