Johnny Gene McKinnie was born on November 1st, 1964 to the late Rosevelt Vaughn and Sally McKinnie.

Johnny accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior at a young age. He loved singing in the choir.

Johnny is the father of 6 children. Jasmin Williams, Ereo Scates, Ayesha Ambrose, Kenshonia Pirtle, Jonathan McKinnie, and Jakiesha McKinnie. He also has 3 grand children.

He leaves to cherish his memory to his wife Kenya Pirtle-McKinnie, his sisters Rose McKinnie, Juanita, McKinnie, and Irene McKinnie. Johnny has a host of nieces, nephews, and friends that will carry on his legacy.
