Here lies Johnny Austin, born on 11/26/1966 in Greenville, Mississippi, and departed from this world on 11/14/2025. He is survived by his son Garrick Carter, whom he loved more than he loved his collection of basketball memorabilia.

Johnny was known for his sharp wit and infectious laughter, always ready to crack a joke or challenge you to a game of one-on-one. He could dribble circles around his opponents and shoot hoops like nobody's business.

Unfortunately, Johnny's game was cut short by a formidable opponent - pancreatic cancer. Despite his valiant efforts, he ultimately succumbed to the disease, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, love, and countless missed dunks.

Rest in peace, Johnny. We hope there's a basketball court in heaven where you can continue to show off your skills. And maybe teach the angels a thing or two about the game.
