Johnathon Christopher Harvey, lovingly known as Uncle Rocky, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024, at the age of 64. He was born on May 26, 1959, in Fort Lauderdale, FL, and most recently resided in Baltimore, MD.
Johnathon was a trailblazer in his profession, becoming the first African American at his law firm. He took great pride in his career achievements and was a respected member of the legal community in Baltimore County.
Outside of work, Johnathon had a zest for life. He cherished spending time with his grandchildren, Isaiah, Christopher, Angel, Ashley, Crystal, and Robert. He often enjoyed traveling and taking road trips, camping trips, and barbecues with the family. His favorite motto was, "Don't cry for me, have a barbecue!"
In 1992, Johnathon married Sonja Fallon in a lavish ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida. Together, they raised four children, Michael, Marvin, Camille, and Ashton. Johnathon was a dedicated family man, always putting his loved ones first.
Johnathon's strong will and determination were evident in his personality. He had a remarkable ability to lighten any moment with his jokes and humor. He impacted the lives of others by advocating for his community, filing petitions at the local city hall to ensure a good living environment and quality lifestyle for the residents.
Johnathon will be deeply missed by his three sons, Michael, Marvin, and Ashton, and his youngest daughter, Camille. He is also survived by over 20 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
As a Christian and a god-fearing man, Johnathon had a strong spiritual foundation that guided his actions and interactions with others.
Although Johnathon's presence will be greatly missed, his legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of all those whose lives he touched.
