Johnathan S. Carter, 27, of Roswell N.M, Was taken from us unexpectedly on July 15, 2019 to join the Angels in Heaven. He was born September 12, 1991 in Roswell, born to Shawn Carter and Tammy Carlton and later taken in and raised by James Ramirez who he also was proud to call his Father. He attended mulitpe schools to include schools in Hagerman, Roswell and Artesia. After school Johnathan took his hard working skills that his late Grandpa Mickey instilled in him to the oil fields and construction jobs for work.

Johnathan loved spending his days listening to his music, spending time with his daughters and hanging out with friends and family member who all ment the world to him, he would always attend family get togethers and couldnt get into someones car without plugging in his music and turning the radio up as loud as he could. above all the rest Johnathan cherished his Mother, his Aunt Sherry and his Daughters more then life itself and would do anything for them.

Johnathan is survived by his Daughters Zoie, Natalie and Alexis; his Mother Tammy Carlton, Fathers Shawn Carter and James Ramires; his Grandmother Doe Carter; his brothers Eric Carter, Robert Ramirez, Chance Carter, Anthony Burge, Terry Burge and his sister's Shantel Carter, Iris Losoya and Sunshine Carter. He also leaves behind the Love of His Life Harley Thompson, and several aunts, uncles cousins and in-laws that love him and will miss him deeply. He will be proceeded in death by His Great Grandparents and his Grandfather Mickey Carter and Grandmother Joyce Carlton.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by the Ballard Funeral Home in Roswell. The funeral will be held on Thursday the 25th at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by the grave side services at SouthPark Cemetery. Paul Bearer's will be as follows: Eric Carter, Robert Ramirez, Michael Norris, Shawn Carter, Jason Hudson and Rene Ramirez. Honorary Paul Bearar's are as mentioned James Ramirez, Charlie Kendall, Charlie Kendall Jr., Blake Carter, Derrick Hudson and Jaydan Carter. Carnation flowers will be provided to the immediately family members at grave side. On behalf of Johnathans entire family we would like to give are most sincere gratitude to each and every person who contibuted their donations for the services and a special thank you to the staff at Ballard Funeral home for their help and kindness in this difficult time for us.
