John Farmer, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, passed away on May 23, 2024 at the age of 74. He was born on March 29, 1950.

John was a devoted husband to his partner Nelly Farmer and a loving father to his 4 children: Anthony Farmer, Lashawn Farmer, LaSonya Farmer, and Rodney McLaughlin. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren: Maurice McLaughin, Thomas Wells, Victoria Wells, Aaron Wells, Daniel Wells, Crishawna McLaughin, Reginald McLaughlin, Daquan McLaughlin, Lorenzo McLaughlin, Zion McLaughlin.

John proudly served in the Army as a Staff Sergeant, dedicating many years to his country. He was known for his hard work and dedication both in his military career and in his personal life.

Outside of his work, John enjoyed spending time fishing. It was a hobby that brought him joy and relaxation throughout his life.

John will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.
