John Vasquez Obituary

Apr 26, 1963 - Aug 11, 2020

This obituary is administered by:

Gone Too Soon

John Vasquez, our beloved JV, went home to the Lord on Tuesday, August 11, 2020. He was the most big hearted and caring husband, father, brother, son, nino, and friend anyone could ever ask for and will be forever missed.

John loved his wife, Annette. They had one daughter, Amanda, and raised Anthony and Jazmine like their own. Family was the most important thing in his life and he cherished them well. He checked up on every single person in the family with a weekly phone call.

Everybody that knew him knows what a hard-working man he was. For the past 30 years, he worked for the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety and was often the first one to arrive and the last to leave. And he loved to play too and being in social settings. You could often find him at Dodgers stadium surrounded by his friends who he enjoyed spending much time with.

John was looking forward to retirement. No one would have ever imagined we would lose him to this Covid-19 pandemic and he will be forever missed.

May you rest in peace in heaven, JV, until we meet again.
