John Russell Speaker III John was born on October 3, 1942 in Gordon, Nebraska. His family later moved to the Portland, Oregon where he attended Lincoln High School and went on to get his BS Degree from Portland State University. Lt. Speaker was in the Oregon National Guard for 6 years. In 1963 he married the love of his life Dianne Emerson. His work career was with ESCO Steel, Kaiser Cement, Chrysler Motors and Toyota Motors Sales, USA. The last 20 years he enjoyed being a Realtor with Coldwell Banker Town and Country in Redlands, CA. John was a member of the Redlands Country Club for many years. He raised three generations. In deep mourning are his wife Dianne, son John, and his loving children that kept him going everyday: Jason, Mercedez, Paulina, his beloved "angel" daughter Christina, Sister Gayle Taylor, brothers Gerry Johnson, Marty Emerson and many family members and friends. A service will be held at Emmerson-Barlett Chapel at 703 Brookside Ave., Redlands on June 9th at 11:00 a.m.
