Gone but never forgotten

John Andrews II, lovingly known as "Jolly Johnny," left this world with a smile on his face on September 2, 2023, in Atlanta, Georgia. Born on January 26, 1946, he lived a life filled with laughter, mischief, and the occasional pants-on-fire incident.

Johnny was a man of many talents, although most of them involved getting himself into absurd situations. From his early days as a young whippersnapper, he showed a remarkable ability to find trouble in the most innocuous places. Who else could manage to get a chili dog stuck in their nose? Johnny, that's who.

As he grew older, Johnny's misadventures became more infamous. His penchant for prank phone calls was legendary, causing countless unsuspecting strangers to question the present state of human intelligence. Oh, how he loved to mimic a flatulent walrus over the phone!

John didn't limit his tomfoolery to phone lines alone; he was also the life of any party. Never one to shy away from a dance floor, Johnny's signature move was a bizarre combination of the Cha-Cha Slide and the Macarena, resulting in a dance phenomenon that even baffled professional choreographers.

Johnny also had a unique talent for storytelling. His embellished tales had the power to make anyone burst into laughter, even to the point of wheezing. Some people doubted the factuality of his anecdotes, but who are we to question if he really taught a squirrel to water-ski?

When Johnny wasn't busy concocting mischief or tickling funny bones, he loved spending time in his workshop. Despite a succession of accidental explosions and minor brush fires, he managed to create some truly extraordinary contraptions. Who could forget his groundbreaking "automatic toast-flipper" or the fantastic "bristle-less toothbrush"? Needless to say, both inventions raised more questions than they answered.

John Andrews II was more than just a joker; he had a heart of gold and a laugh that could brighten even the gloomiest of days. He leaves behind a legacy of joy, laughter, and highly questionable dance moves.

In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to the "John Andrews Memorial Fund for Inventing Safer Gadgets." With your help, we hope to prevent any further eyebrows from being singed off due to ill-conceived creations.

Rest in peace, Jolly Johnny. May your pranks live on and continue to bring laughter to the heavens above. And please, for all our sakes, try not to set off the fire alarm up there.

You can to the family or in memory of John Andrews II.
