John Rivera age 60, passed  away peacefully on Thursday, June 11, 2020 at his home in Kingston Ny. He was born February 29th, 1960 to the late Ramon, Maria  Magdalena Alvarez Rivera. He was a 1978 gradute from the New York public School system. He worked as a cook for most of his life where he enjoyed feeding and helping all the people around him. John truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasure; laughing, chatting with friends and family. He is survived by his three kids John (Amanda) Rivera Jr, Diana Rivera, Maria Rivera and two grandkids  Ava & Ace Rivera, a devoted sister Sally Rivera and special devoted nieces, nephews Jose, Lydia (Kedrick) Christina, Corey, Laura (Patrick) and a host of loving great  Nieces, nephews, family, friends and others whose lives John touched. He is processed in death by his (parents) Ramone, Maria and (sibling) Leticia Rivera, Ramone Rivera, William Rivera. The family would like to thank everyone who supported them through the bereavement .
