In loving memory of our father, John Pasquale Macri, age 91 of Huntley, Illinois, passed away Saturday at 12:38 pm on February 9, 2019. John was one of seven siblings born to Pasquale and Rose (Bellini) Macri, May 15th, 1927, in Chicago, IL.
Our beloved father was survived by his daughter's, Debra, Lori and Lawrence (Bettendorf), and his son's John and Dominic. Grandchildren James, Nicholas, Heather, Nicole, Amanda, and Michael.
John attended Crane High School on Van Buren & Jackson in Chicago, IL before serving his country in WWII in 1944. After three months of basic training at Fort McCellan, in Ohatchee, Alabama, he toured overseas in La Harve, France; Rosenheim and Frankfort, Germany; and then in Vienna, Austria. After the war John drove a material truck for Catina's Brothers before entering the banking industry at a ground level book keeping position in 1947 at Central National Bank. John retired Asst Vice President from the banking industry on June 30th, 1990.
