A life we all lived

John Larry Green, born February 18th, 1954, passed away on May 21st, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of laughter and joy.

John leaves behind his son Jonathan Martin and daughter Janisha Carstarphen. He was known for his infectious smile and playful sense of humor. He loved to make people laugh and would do anything to see a smile on someone's face.

One of John's greatest passions was his love of music. He could often be found strumming his guitar and singing with friends and family. He even attempted to start his own band back in the 80s, but unfortunately, they never made it past the garage.

John was also an avid sports fan, especially when it came to his beloved Chicago Cubs. He would never miss a game and would always be cheering them on, no matter how poorly they were playing.

Most of all, John will be remembered for his kind heart and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a hand and never turned his back on someone in need.

John's family and friends will miss him dearly, but they take comfort in knowing that he is now spreading joy and laughter in the great beyond. Rest in peace, John.
