John Vanhorn, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on November 23, 2025, in Lancaster, Ohio, United States. He was born on September 21, 1940, to John Henry Vanhorn and Rosella May Vanhorn.

In 1960, John married his loving wife Cornelia A Vanhorn, with whom he shared a beautiful life and raised six children. Their children are John Vanhorn Jr (spouse Donna Vanhorn), Jeff Vanhorn (spouse Renee Vanhorn), Rebecca Poston (spouse Ted Poston), Paul Vanhorn, Rosa Rutter (spouse Mel Rutter), and Terri Newman (spouse Bobby Newman).

John was a dedicated employee at the Fairfield County Road department for many years, where he made a lasting impact on his colleagues and community. In his free time, he enjoyed playing solitaire, playing marbles, and watching WWE matches.

John leaves behind a legacy of love and warmth to his family, including 18 cherished grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren. His memory will forever be treasured by all those who knew and loved him.
