Taylor, 90, of New Castle, IN, formerly of Clarksville, TN, passed away at his home surrounded by his family on October 13, 2016.He was born on January 14, 1926 in Mercer, Tennessee, a son of the late Vester T. and Annie Charmlin (Ford) Taylor.Survived by his wife of 47 years, Florence "Dottie" (Stephens) Taylor; son, Richard (Maureen) Taylor; three grandchildren, Shane, Zachary and Brandi Taylor. Brothers, Bobby A. (Patsy) Taylor and Billy (Nancy) Taylor both of Mercer, TN; nieces, Bonnie, Cindy and Sandy; nephews, Bill, David and several cousins.Preceded in death by his parents and a dear cousin Elsie Melton.Funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. on Tues., October 18 at Sproles Funeral Home in New Castle, IN.
