John E. BowersJohn E. Bowers, 82, passed away on Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at home with his wife by his side. He was born on Thursday, September 6, 1934 to Grace P. Barnett and Virgil F. Bowers in Rogersville, MO. John married Nora Belle Prine in Springfield, MO on March 30, 1957 and to this union two sons were born. He was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for 47 years at McQueary Brothers Whole Sale Drugs. John was preceded in death by his parents, one son Brian and two brothers Bill and Bobby.He is survived by his loving wife Nora, his son Ron Bowers (wife Mary), one sister-in-law June Bowers, five grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his angels Danny and Marlena Prine and numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 7, 2017, from 9-10am at the Klingner-Cope Family Funeral Home at White Chapel, 5234 W.
