John Charles Murphy, 62, of Marysville, WA died November 8, 2013. John was born on August 4, 1951 in Everett. John lived most of his life in the Everett area. He will be remembered as a caring and loving husband to Kathy Murphy for 38 years of marriage; father to Tracy Murphy and Travis Murphy; grandfather to Serenity, Caitlin and Ariana; brother to Colleen Murphy Zimmerman of Bonney Lake, Scott Murphy of Lake Stevens and Gerry Murphy of Oroville, CA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Warren and Virginia Murphy and sister, Cheryle Murphy Biedler. Nobody loved the outdoors more than John. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and loved taking the kids, any kids, on outings whenever he could. He recently started to pan gold. He will be missed by many.
