John Padgett, beloved son of James and Pamela Padgett, passed away on September 7, 2025, much to the relief of his Netflix subscription.

John was born on June 11, 1974, in Columbia, South Carolina, where he spent most of his days avoiding responsibilities and perfecting his art of procrastination. Despite his best efforts, John never quite managed to settle down and start a family of his own.

He will be remembered for his love of pizza, his aversion to mornings, and his impressive collection of cat memes. John was always quick with a joke or a sarcastic comment, making sure to keep everyone on their toes.

While John may not have left behind any children, he did leave behind a legacy of unfinished projects and half-hearted commitments. He will be sorely missed by his parents, who will now have to find someone else to borrow money from.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you take a nap in John's honor, preferably in the middle of the day when you're supposed to be working. Rest in peace, John, may your Netflix queue always be full and your pizza forever hot.
