It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of John Ferrell Jr., known to all as "Johnny." Johnny was born on January 21, 1942, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to his parents John Autry Ferrell and Patrice Pool Ferrell.
Johnny lived a full and vibrant life in his hometown of Vicksburg. He was known for his kind heart, generous spirit, and infectious laughter. Johnny had a passion for music, spending countless hours playing his guitar and singing for friends and family.
On August 10, 2024, Johnny peacefully passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love and joy. Although he had no children of his own, Johnny was a cherished uncle, cousin, and friend to many.
Johnny will be deeply missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
