John Brown Jr. of Denver, Colorado, passed away on April 25, 2024, at the age of 62. He was born on February 11, 1962, to John A. Brown Sr. and Marynell Horton.

John is survived by his partner Patricia Ryan whom he met in 1989, his mother Marynell Horton, his beloved father John Brown Sr. and beloved Stepfather, Richard Horton Sr. His daughter, Jacke'e R. Brown and his stepchildren: Qania M. Ryan, Troy A. Ryan, and Lakila S. Davis. He also leaves behind seven beloved grandchildren. Siblings: Monoiette Pettit (Keith), Maxine Horton, Kelli Shelton (Shelton), Scott Horton (Therell), Richard Horton Jr., Jacqueline Horton, and Robin Horton.

John graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School in 1979 and went on to work at John Brown's Pluming. In his free time, he enjoyed collecting cars, watching movies, and laughing at comedy shows.

Although John's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who knew and loved him, his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, John Brown Jr.
