John Albert Davis passed away on Friday, June 21, 2013. He was born on June 28, 1934 in Abbyville, South Carolina.While serving in the U.S. Army, John was united in Holy Matrimony to Nona Lee Hudnell on July 1, 1961 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. To this union were born two daughters, Loretta Lynn and Veronica Louise (Peaches). John retired from the U.S. Army in 1974 after 22 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, bowling, camping and RVing with his family.John loved life and all people. It wasn't unusual to find John speaking with a stranger as if they were his friend. He lost his battle with cancer after being diagnosed in 1997.He leaves to mourn his passing and to cherish his memory his loving wife and daughters; four sisters, Rose, Catherine, Marilyn and Nadine; two brothers, Peter and Jimmy and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
