John A. Pehowski RACINE – John A. Pehowski, 55, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012 at Hospice House in Pleasant Prairie. He was born on January 26, 1957, the son of Ambrose and Cecilia (nee: Kurkowski) Pehowski. John was a graduate of James Madison High School in Milwaukee. On November 9, 1985 he was united in marriage to Donna Boomsliter in Milwaukee. John was employed with UPS in Sturtevant for more than 30 years. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping and golfing. John also enjoyed woodworking. Surviving is his wife, Donna, son, A.J. and daughter, Sarah, mother, Cecilia Pehowski; brothers, David (Kathy) Pehowski, Tom Pehowski and Paul (Liz Sanicola) Pehowski and a sister, Darlene (Steve) Bloxham; best friend for many years, Kim Schuller. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. John was preceded in death by his father, Ambrose. Memorial services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 4 p.m. with Fr. Stephen Stradinger officiating.
