John "Jack" Andrew Knapp, of Vanceburg, formerly of Liverpool, NY, entered into eternal rest on February 27, 2024 at the age of 74. He was born on March 19, 1949 in Syracuse, NY, to the late Francis and Janice (Fineout) Knapp.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marilyn Spencer Knapp; brother, Robert (Liane) Knapp; and sister, Elizabeth Knapp.

John "Jack" is survived by his brother, William A. Knapp, of Louisiana; two daughters, Kimberly Prater, of Vanceburg, KY and Erika Hinman, of Richmond, KY; three nephews, Randy Knapp, William J. Knapp, and Daniel Knapp; four grandchildren, Maranda Hughes, Vance Dowling, Madison Prater, and Jacob Prater; along with many other family members who will miss him dearly. 

John "Jack" loved his dogs, Rex and Lyla. He enjoyed race cars, tinkering around the house, and his family. He will be greatly missed.
