Kleinschmidt, John A. WAUWATOSA/ WEST BEND/ PALM HARBOR, FL - John A. Kleinschmidt, age 95, passed away on Tues. July 4, 2017. He was born on Aug. 1, 1921, in Hamburg, Wis., the son of Otto and Lena Kleinschmidt. Following high school, John worked for a time as a machinist before joining the U.S. Navy and served during World War II. Following the war, he was united in marriage to Lois Risch and they were blessed with three children. John worked in management for Louis Allis Co. for nearly 30 years before retiring at age 62. He is survived by his sons, Robert (Becky) and Kevin (Ellen) Kleinschmidt; daughter, Penny (Andrew) Grombala; sisters, Dorothy Body and LaVerna Froemming; grandchildren, Andrew (Roseann), Brian (Mika), Matthew and Daniel (Nicole) Kleinschmidt and Alexandra Grombala; great grandchildren, Jade, Grace, Oliver and Zachary. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Lois; brothers, Wilbert and Edmund. A private memorial service followed by Military Honors will be held at Wisconsin Memorial Park with the Rev.
