John Smith, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on March 17, 2024, in Ballarat East, Victoria, Australia. He was born on February 13, 1937, to Jack and Jessica Smith.

John is survived by his loving partner, Ann Smith, his two children, Robert Smith (spouse Grace Smith) and Andrew Smith (spouse Beatrice), and his cherished grandchildren. He was a devoted family man who always put his loved ones first.

John attended Ballarat High School, where he excelled in his studies and graduated in 1955. He went on to further his education at Federation University and graduated in 1959, setting a strong foundation for his successful career.

Throughout his working life, John was a dedicated employee at Smith’s Auto Repairs, where he showcased his skills and expertise in auto mechanics. He was highly respected by his colleagues and clients alike and retired in 2005 after many years of service.

In addition to his professional endeavors, John was a pillar of the community and dedicated his time to helping others through his involvement in the Anglican Church organization. He had a strong faith and was always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Outside of his work and community involvement, John had a passion for hobbies such as Bowling, Fishing, Camping, and Road Trips. He enjoyed spending time outdoors and creating lasting memories with his loved ones.

John will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will continue to inspire those who knew him.

John Smith will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
