John Murphy, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on October 5, 2025, in Steubenville, Ohio, at the age of 60.

John was born on March 1, 1965, to Michael and Diane Murphy. He married the love of his life, Elena Murphy, in 1989, and together they had two children, Devin Murphy and Sierra Reeves.

John was a proud graduate of Indian Creek High School, class of 1983. He spent his professional career at Johnson and Michael law firm, where he worked diligently until his retirement in 2022.

One of John's greatest joys in life was spending time with his eight grandchildren, who brought him endless happiness and laughter.

John will always be remembered for his kind heart, quick wit, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He faced his battle with brain cancer with courage and dignity, leaving behind a legacy of strength and perseverance.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral will be held at Cristian cross road church where John was a dedicated member on Sunday Oct 12 , 2025
