We mourn the passing of John Summers, who was born on 03/08/1945 and died on 03/11/2026 in South Africa, Western Cape. He lived a full life, dedicating his time to helping animals through his work with the SPCA organization.

John graduated from Silverton High School in 1963 and went on to continue his studies at UCT. He was a loving husband to Doreen Summers, whom he married in 1953, and a devoted father to their two children, Fiona Michaels and Glen Summers. He leaves behind 10 grandchildren.

John had a passion for animals and spent his life rehabilitating them. His love and dedication to his cause inspired many and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he touched.

John Summers passed away due to a heart attack. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
