John Lacey, born on October 16, 1939, in Marietta, Ohio, passed away on February 26, 2026. He was the beloved son of Ralph Lacey and Rosalee Meadows.

John is survived by his two loving children, Richard Lacey and Jack Lacey. He was also a devoted grandfather to five grandchildren Dustin Lacey, Jack Lacey II, Johnathan Lacey, Richard Lacey II and only granddaughter Wyonna Lacey (Gray).

John worked at Anchor Hocking in Lancaster, Ohio, where he dedicated many years of his life. Prior to his career, he served in the Navy as a Sergeant.

In his free time, John enjoyed crafts and reading, always finding solace in these hobbies. He will be remembered for his kind heart and unwavering dedication to his family.

Rest in peace, John Lacey. You will be deeply missed by all who knew you.

A 21 gun salute will be held on Sunday March 1st, 2026. At Marietta Square from 2:00pm to 4:30pm.
