John Edward Simpson of Jackson, Michigan passed away on April 30, 2025, at the age of 87. He was born on June 15, 1937, to his parents Franklin Arnold and Elizebeth Sampson.

John is survived by his partner, Gwendolyn Lapan, and their four children - Coleen Thompson, Elizebeth James Fink, Lesleann Perry, and Nicole Perry. He also leaves behind 10 beloved grandchildren.

John was a graduate of Ann Arbor High School and had a passion for Free Masons. He will be remembered for his love of family, his sense of humor, and his dedication to living life to the fullest.
