Joey S. Reel, 58MUNCIE - Joey S. Reel, 58, passed away Tuesday December 27, 2016 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute due to cardiac issues.He was born on February 22, 1958 in Muncie, Indiana to the late Robert "Bud" and Hattie (Watters) Reel. Joey graduated from South Side High School in 1977, and was on their wrestling team. He was a heavy equipment operator for Omni Source in Muncie. Joey enjoyed building and driving mud buggies, attending Camp Chesterfield, and loved helping people. He loved tormenting, playing games and laughing with his grandchildren.Joey enjoyed hanging out at Reese Transport and riding as a "co-pilot" in his special friend Clyde Reese's semi truck. He was preceded in death by his brother, Randy Reel. Survivors include his wife of fourteen years, Kimberly Vanatti Reel, Muncie, Indiana; daughters, Hollie (Greg) Dorsey, Muncie, Indiana, Amanda (Randy) Tooley, Eaton, Indiana; step-daughter, Michele Robbins, Hilham, Tennessee; mother-in-law, Dorothy Vanatti, Brazil, Indiana; sister-in-laws, Angie Vanatti, Brazil, Indiana, Beverly (Vanatti) Chaney, Brazil, Indiana; nephews, Chris, Robert, and Brandon Gardner Shayne, Boe, Eric, Neil and Brock Vanatti; niece, Krista Vanatti; grandchildren, Grayce, Bryahna, and Wayde Dorsey, Muncie, Indiana, Grant Tooley, Eaton, Indiana, Justin and Julia Rich, Hilham, Tennessee; special friends, Tom and Joyce Mitchell, Randy Walker, John "Tiger" Burk. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Spirit Light House of Faith, 408 South O Street, Richmond, Indiana 47374.Online condolences may be expressed at www.moorefuneralhomes.com
