We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Smith, who was born on April 7, 1950, in Mansfield, Ohio, United States, to Wilbur and Dorothy Smith. Joseph passed away on May 15, 2024, at the age of 74.

Joseph leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication to his family, including his two children, Jodi Stevens-Smith and Tonya Smith. He was also a proud grandparent to two grandchildren.

Joseph dedicated many years of his life to working as a Correctional Officer before retiring in 2009. Outside of work, he enjoyed watching horse races and spending time with his family.

Joseph's passing leaves a void in the hearts of all who knew him. He will be greatly missed for his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love for his family.

Joseph's battle with Pancreatic Cancer was a courageous one, and he faced it with strength and dignity until the very end.
