Joel was a loving husband to his partner Alejandra Sanchez and a devoted father to his five children: Ally, Amy, Aubrey, Alejandra, and Brianda. He was also a proud grandfather to three grandchildren.

In addition to his role as a family man, Joel also served in the Airforce, where he made lifelong friendships and memories that he cherished.

Joel will always be remembered for his infectious smile, quick wit, and kind heart. He had a knack for making everyone around him laugh, even in the darkest of times.
