Joe Charles-Edward  Dickerson, age 86, passed away peacefully December 29, 2019 due to diabetes and congestive heart failure. He was born January 19, 1933 in Macon, Georgia to Carl and Annie Lynn. He eloped and married his longtime friend and love, Betty Edge Dickerson, in October of 1960 who preceded her in death in 1999. 

His life was a living example of his favorite Bible verse, Ephesians 4:32 — “And be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving one another, just as God also forgave you in Christ.

Joe leaves behind his 6 children, Betty Carol (James), Deborah (Willie), James (Anne),  Joe (Mary), Sister (Tracy) Bobby Ann (Richard)  21 grandchildren l, 11 great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.
