Joe A. Hetrick, 70, formerly of Long Avenue, Brookville, passed away on May 20, 2015 in Hopkins, South Carolina.Joe was born on September 27, 1944 in Brookville. He was the son of the late Frank A. and Betty J. (Himes) Hetrick. He is survived by: His wife Lin; brother Terry (Lana) Hetrick of Brookville; a sister Peggy (Ed) Shields of Reynoldsville; One son, Roby (Julie) of South Carolina and a daughter, Rowena of Florida. He is also survived by three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by his parents and his first wife, Estrella.Joe served in the military for over 30 years in the Marine Corps and the Seabees. He fought in the Vietnam War and had the opportunity to travel all over the world. He retired in South Carolina.He was given full military honors at Fort Jackson National Military Cemetery in South Carolina.
